College Career
Pember averaged 1.3 points and one rebound per game while playing 22 games for the Tennessee Volunteers off the bench. In his ten games as a sophomore, he played for 2.8 minutes on average. After the season, Pember used the NCAA transfer site and finally went to UNC Asheville.
After averaging about 15.7 points as well as 6.7 rebounds and an effective 3.0 blocked shots per game in his debut season with the Bulldogs, he set a school record with 48 points in an overtime victory over Presbyterian of 88-80. After the season, Pember was voted Big South Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year again, and First Team All-Big South. After scoring 29 points in the championship game against Campbell, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the 2023 Big South Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.
